I am the light of the world.
He who follows me will not be
walking in the dark,
but will have the light which is life.
John 8:12

Lord, I love walking through life with You. The places You take me fill me with peace, purpose, and joy. I know Your way is always the right way.
Yet so many times I want to walk in the ways of the world. I want to experience the excitement of life. There is a real struggle in my soul. One part of me longs to never wander off Your road of everlasting life, but the other part too easily travels down the road of worldly pleasures and self-destruction.
Yet still You love me. And I am amazed by how many times You come find me when I lose my way. How faithful You are to me no matter how many times I walk away from You. So here I am again, asking for my heavenly Father's forgiveness and divine direction back to the road that leads me home to You.
